| What is written | Why it goes in | How long the ink stays |
|---|---|---|
| Nickname | Giving you a name at the reels | For as long as your crew card exists |
| Email address | Knowing it is you at the cookhouse door when you log in again | For as long as your crew card exists |
| Password hash | Checking your password without us ever keeping it | For as long as your crew card exists |
| Sign-up date | Handling support and abuse reports | For as long as your crew card exists |
Nothing beyond that goes in the crew book. Brannock never asks for your real name, address, date of birth, phone number or any payment detail; the river has nothing for sale, so there is no reason to. Only a one-way hash of your password is stored. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (running the crew card you signed up for). Deleting your account wipes every line at once, with the button on your account page.
| What is written | What camp uses it for | How long the ink stays |
|---|---|---|
| Your purse, level, mission list and game settings | Letting you carry on downstream from where you stopped | Until someone clears the browser data |
| Age confirmation | Not asking the same thing at every bend of the river | Until someone clears the browser data |
| Cookie choice | Remembering what you said about consent | Until someone clears the browser data |
This stays on your device; we are never sent it.
Say “Accept all” and Brannock lets Google Analytics and Google Ads tags tally visits and check whether an advert of ours floated someone down to play, a first spin for instance; Google then receives your IP address, device information and these events. Say “Essential only” and the tags stay in consent mode, with no cookies and no advertising identifiers. Lawful basis: consent.
Our host keeps the usual request logs for a short time, the way a scaler keeps his tally board, for security. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
At any time you can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict your data, object to processing or withdraw consent. Deleting the account on the account page tears its data out of the crew book right away, and clearing this site’s data in your browser clears whatever remains in the locker. To complain, contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Log Drive Camp is for adults aged 19 or over. The coins in this camp have no monetary value, and there is no buying, selling, withdrawing or exchanging them. Walk the whole river and you will not find a coin shop, a payment page or a prize of real-world value, and success here does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
